Good evening all, I have just purchased a 2001 Romahome HiLo motorhome which is built upon the Berlingo Chassis.
It came with a handbook for the use of the motorhome but not one for the basics of the Berlingo.
A search on line found several workshop manuals with all the technical repair details but I cannot find the simple functions manual which would have been with the original vehicle.
I wonder if anyone can help please, either with a pdf or a pointer to a download site.
Thank you in advance.

I think the M49 was before the advent of paper, so the manuals may be carved in stone. I'll see if there are any images of the tablets.
Only Joking lol maybe someone will have a copy of the owners manual for the actual vehicle.

Edit Reason: typo
)
Do you mean a manual that says what the Berlingo instruments and controls are for? I've got the owners handbook that came with my 2001 diesel van, though it's not in digital format (it's paper, not stone, lol). If needed, I could photograph and upload some images from it, though scanning all of it might take up a bit of server room (it's 126 pages long.....)

Hi, that is exactly what I am looking for but don't know specifically what I need to look at to ask you to take pics of a few pages, but thank you for offering. It is things like instrument panel lights and seat adjustments that one normally familiarises oneself with when acquiring a new vehicle.
It is a bit strange that the original is not in any of the pockets like you would expect in a well looked after vehicle.
There must be a .pdf or other digital version available on line somewhere but seems like the proverbial rocking horse stuff to find a copy but will keep looking.
I bought the Haynes manual that was on offer in my local parts shop expecting that I would find basic information in there, but it seems it is only useful if I wanted part numbers and torque settings etc. if I was to strip it down and rebuild it.

Does it have the original Citroën seats?
If so, the manual is in a pocket under the driver's seat.

Oh, that looks like a proper camper!
Does it have a custom rear axle? There's no way Citroen's original torsion bar would carry that.

Spot on thank you, how anyone would ever know?

Thanks to Gadgetman, I have found the manual in a wallet tucked in a pocket beneath the driver's seat, perhaps you should take a look and see if you have a hidden resource under your seat too.
How anyone would know that the manual was stored there confuses me completely, hardly intuitive is it?
