Just a bit of fun;
-Let's suppose a dear old uncle has left you £500,000 to spend on cars
-You have to spend it on five cars (as per the categories) no being sensible and paying off the mortgage or such like!
What would you buy and how would you spread your cash?
Here's my choice:-
Something for the weekend Sir?
Mercedes SLS £160,000
[Image: Mercedes-SLS-AMG-HighRes-08_610x442-1.jpg]
Family transport
Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid £ 60,000
[Image: normal-1.jpg]
Classic to tinker with
Jaguar SS100 £235,000
[Image: 79_P1040692-1.jpg]
Sunday blast/track toy
Ariel Atom (Supecharged) £ 40,000
[Image: Autosport_orange_1024x768-1.jpg]
Around town
Berlingo mk 2 £ 5,000
[Image: Berlingo2-2.jpg]
2005 Berlingo Multispace 1.6i Desire (Iron Grey)
If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

SS100 Jaguar.
learned to drive in one of those but the saloon version with hard roof and 4 doors. A drunk pinched it on a Sunday lunchtime and wrote it off having bashed into about four other cars and a wall in the process. The folks and I of course were gutted as it had been one old dear owner from new till we bought it and it was only a matter of months as our family car.:brickwall:

Spending £500,000 on cars buys you a lot.
I'd probably have 5 Berlingos, maybe a mixture of Mk 1, Mk 2, & Mk 3. On the outside, they would all look look pretty much like ordinary Berlingos. But under the bonnets of two or three, there would be some serious money spent.

I'm never bored Just trying to see if anyone out there is into cars (other than Berlingos of course) be it performance, classic, exotic, off-road or whatever, and interested to see what people like.
