Hey all,
Can you please tell me where the easiest place is to splice into a permanent live inside the car please.
Its for a 12 volt fan.
Needs to be nice and easy to get to please.

If you plan to mount it on the dash, or near the centre console, it might be an idea to check out the wires going to the stereo, as some systems at least has one wire to the ignition switch and the other to permanent 12V.
Another option is to track the wires going to the switch for the heated seats, if you have that(may not be standard in all models in all countries) as that is also listed as getting power from permanent 12V acording to my manual. (An added bonus is that you're unlikely to use both at the same time... )

Easiest place would be at the rear of the 12 volt charging socket, wouldnt recommend messing with the stereo wiring tbh.

Permanent live would be straight from the battery, do you want an ignition live or do you want the fan to run with the key removed ?
So where does this bit go then ?

Yes it needs to be run with the key out hence my question about one inside rather than running a wire from the battery.
