All morning I've been having this issue......

I log-in with my username and password, but once past the log-on page I'm logged-on as random other users!

Can a mod or admin look into this for me, please? It seems daft to be able to post as other people.


EDIT:- I've just noticed that, randomly, if I try to post I get an error message saying something along the lines of "access denied due to log-in error".

Yeah, I see that too. It was happening yesterday for a time as well. Other wierd happenings too. Maybe the new NSA facility in Utah has hijacked the site (this forum is now hosted in Salt Lake City). Andre can you help???

Have we been hacked?

Hacked I would doubt but it looks like pointers from login credentials to corresponding user data have gotten mixed up. This is something that folks with system privs need to sort. Help please Andre.

Still happening here as well. Eventually managed to log-in after 3 or 4 attempts when strangely I was given the " welcome back Josephlew" message. Also along the top of the page above the menu is the message
"Hello Josephlew. You need to activate your account. You should have received an activation email to the address provided"cratch:cratch:
Hope Andre is on the case and working to fix things.

Sent message to moderators re:- problem

Yes any other page apart from the home page and I am logged in ok. On the home page it asks me to login. Then when I do it says I have entered the wrong p/w! Weird.

I'll point you to this thread with the same sort of subject
