[Engine] Radiator bleed screw
#1
Hi guys
I had a coolant change on a berlingo 2002 1.4 with ac
And it was running ok when suddenly lost coolant on a drive.
After checking, the bleed screw that is on top of the left side of the radiator was missing.
The thread on the plug was damaged before and I must if not screwed it down properly

Does anyone know the part number or a picture of the plug removed.
I have attached a pic of which plug I am looking for.

Any help would be much appreciated

Maria

Use the above to find the part, put your VIN number in the search and it should show the parts for your vehicle.

If the VIN doesn't work it just means you have more options to look through to find the correct layout for your vehicle.

Glad you found the part number   Wink

Can someone please confirm that the top bleed screw on the radiator ( right side if looking from the front) just spins constantly when installed

I bought a new one and when I installed it, it doesn't seem to lock in place.

It does have a spiral thread on the plug but for the life of me it won't tighten down.

Worried that it will come off.

My car doesn't have a bleed screw on the rad so can't help you with that one.

It seem strange that the screw keeps on turning, I would have though it would stop turning when it was seated ?

Yes that's what I thought. The one I initially lost did the same but I put that down to it have the thread broken off.
The brand new one from citroen does the same.

Either the threaded boss in the rad is shot or you have the wrong plug.Hope it's the latter.

Hi thankyou ron

Think the threads on the radiator are broken as the bleed screw is definitely correct,
