Just obtained a used Berlingo Multispace. Three years old. 6000 miles in excellent condition and well presented, as a property salesman might say. However the gear change seems a bit clunky. Is this a characteristic of the model? If so I will accept it, otherwise what can I do to improve things.
I have just swapped my Kangoo which I have had for 13 years so I am hoping this Berlingo will last as long.

Thanks for replying. I have made further investigations and it would appear that the gearbox and th gear stick are connected with a series of rods. You can see pictures of them if you look for them on Amazon. One or two people on this forum have had them fall apart in which case they find that some of their gears have gone missing i.e. will not work until the rods are fixed. With a bit of luck we will not experience this. Other than the gear change We are very pleased with our Berlingo. Hope you enjoy yours too.

I might be wrong but I believe B9's are cable operated?
