[WTB] TRAILER WANTED
#1
Hi all, I am after a trailer for my Berlingo. I dont want anything massive but should be able to carry a bit in. I just want it for when I do a run to the tip, collect wood/coal for the fire and general DIY at home. Huh Big Grin Looking at flagging my drive and getting rid of the old ones so it will work out cheaper than a skip (hopefully).

Put your old slabs on freecycle and let someone else take them away for you. Get your new slabs delivered by a builders supplier with a Hiab. A little unbraked trailer will be a bit lively with flags to any weight piled in it. Gumtree or Preloved and eBay are worth a look.
So where does this bit go then ?

Before you buy a trailer have a look on your council website as many now have restrictions on the size, weight and number of axles on trailers allowed into their waste sites. Some require you to get a permit for each load and type others will send you to their commercial waste sites. It can be a real pain now.
Are we there yet????? Huh

Never considered that. It never used to be a problem as I used to drive a grab wagon !!!

Do you have a towbar fitted? If not,it's not a cheap thing to do with the added cost of a new trailer. I'm not criticising just a bit tight I suppose. Big Grin

The biggest pain was getting a screw in my n/s/r tyre on the way to get the bugger which resulted in a new rear tyre !!!
