Glow plug warning light - StuBeeDoo - 15-08-2014 I've noticed the few times I've driven the Berlingo from cold the glow plug warning icon doesn't light up. Is this normal in warm weather, or should I be investigating a potential problem? It's a 2006MY 1.6HDi 75. The only reason I ask is my 330d (yes, I now it's a totally different car.....) lights the glow plug icon every time the ignition is switched on. TIA, Stuart. RE: Glow plug warning light - polar - 15-08-2014 the 1.6 HDI hardly uses its glow plugs to assist starting. It will only illuminate on very cold mornings, below zero, so what you describe is quite normal. RE: Glow plug warning light - StuBeeDoo - 15-08-2014 Cheers for ^^^ that. RE: Glow plug warning light - stuartinlancashire - 17-08-2014 As above, glow plugs only kick in when very cold. I asked same question when I noticed mine didn't come on. Sent from my SM-N9005 using Tapatalk RE: Glow plug warning light - philip - 17-08-2014 Mine only came on under 0° |
