I fitted some little exhaust bobbins instead and use 10mm M6 nuts to hold the cover on. It takes a bit longer to remove but it's a lot more secure. This kind of thing but they were only about 60p each from the local car spares shop. RE: 2.0 hdi engine cover - Ewanm77 - 12-05-2016 I was going to order these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-XSARA-2-0-HDI-ENGINE-COVER-BOLT-AND-CLIP-KIT-HEAVY-DUTY-/252319955334?hash=item3abf70f986:g:j1EAAOSwyjBW5p4i RE: 2.0 hdi engine cover - Growler73 - 12-05-2016 Yes! Get those. I use the same ones. I've not had one break yet. The other ones are as much use as a chocolate fireguard. Mine from the local spares shop were Renault exhaust bobbins and they were only about 60p each and if I fitted some wing nuts they would be similar to the eBay item. RE: 2.0 hdi engine cover - Ewanm77 - 12-05-2016 it would work out a lot cheaper getting them |
