RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 28-03-2019 Love this sort of thing One ride, one visit to A&E OWNERS BUILD THREAD. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/showthread.php?t=767315 I wanted to build one just for fun, then @CraigRK offered me a free pile of bits he has owned for 13 years. At least we know it will, should fit in the back of Prozac...... Fetching early on Saturday. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 29-03-2019 Another week over. Last night saw this happen at a work awards dinner, sales, yes. Thank you to all of those of you taking the time to be part of my MoJo recovery, being friends, supportive and generally motivational from behind the scenes. You may not even realise it, but these forum families are a lot more valuable than the sum of their parts. And then there are some very special friends, like mate Martin and @CraigRK...... Both sent me this screen shot last night. So the question is..... With the red truck awaiting loads of attention, the Blazer not completed the way I want it to be, so not completely out of my system, another truck seen recently that made my pulse race..... What’s a man to do. One more day in a meeting room, then it’s the weekend. Out in Prozac at 06.00 tomorrow, over to Craig’s to collect the other little (it is bigger than it should be) Project, and buy our USA 2019 Road Trip tickets. Followed by the rest of the weekend with Sally.... Life is certainly good. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 30-03-2019 Found these in the garage last night. Hand made. And some Sachs Madass 125cc headlights. They could work. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 30-03-2019 Headed out early, as I did not manage to sleep much. Due to a bed bug. Got to Craig’s place and typical of his style, the file was here, waiting on his daughters art table. After coffee and chats, we headed out to his unit about 20 miles away. Unpacking some bits, we eventually made it to the back of the unit and started to extricate what was left of the scooter, he had bought it 12 years ago, almostto the day, with the plan to fix it for his sonwho was 5 at the time, Kyle is now 17and passed the 50cc phase, onto a 125cc geared bike and a very nice VW Polo 1.0 liter Loved this. Loooong and lazy. Once he got to the back of the unit, it started to produce an alarming pile of chaos. Original tool kit, keys, copper pipe, plastics, brake shoes etc. I am looking for an old trumpet, or similar complex brass musical instrument by the way...... Lastly. From little Oaks, grow big trees. Craig’s first bike his dad bought him when he was possibly 10 years old or less, no idea. Hopefully he will be along to correct me. Dinky thing. Next job, go unpack the pile. Back in a bit. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 30-03-2019 So we got to having what was left of the scooter, out into the sunshine. Of course needed to try it on for size. Lowrider. Normal Raised bars, legs forward. Of course, an idea, STEAMPUNK ? Dragged it toward Prozac, wheels locked up. . Loaded it in, @CraigRK holding it all in place. Before I strapped the lot down. More stuff loaded, then off to Craig’s to fetch a few more bits. Eventually made it home Cat outside, waiting to be let in. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 31-03-2019 Bit of a chilly day, windy too. This is a Honda Zoomer or Ruckus, cult following out there, and one of the looks I would love to emulate if Steampunk does not come together. Went down to the garage late. Last time this was on the road, 2004. Ignition on, fuel gauge live. Note the miles this has done, not a lot. Dragged the skeleton into the garage, put about a litre of fuel, into the tank. Cleaned all the electrical contacts with some fine emery paper. Then tried to jump start if from thenBlazer again, and for one positive sound, like a mini Bzzzt, then just relay type clicks after that. So removed the plug, seemed fine. Then dig deeper and found this. HELP OR ADVICE NEEDED PLEASE. On the Italjet I have..... I have not been able to start it but found this part to be corroded, and a wire loose. Seems to have an association with the carburettor And yes, it’s corroded and one wire is adrift. And this is where it lives. Thank you. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 05-04-2019 Small woodwork side project. Prozac will be involved later when moving the old decking to Sally and Mate Martin’s places to be used there. http://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/208777/dicking-decking-failed-rebuilding-deck It’s all going on in there for those interested. Almost the weekend. RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Mike - 07-04-2019 Wow, you certainly keep busy! Congrats on the award too! How many projects are currently in work, or is it best not to ask ? RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 09-04-2019 (07-04-2019, 01:48 PM)Mike Wrote: Wow, you certainly keep busy! Congrats on the award too! How many projects are currently in work, or is it best not to ask ? Thank you Mike. If I do not keep busy, it means I would spend £1000.00 to have someone come do the job. I can do more with £1000.00 in my pocket and some Ibuprofen in my belly. And the job is done to a higher standard than any tradesman would have done it. PS. Best not to ask about the projects RE: Grizz' Prozac for the Soul - Berlingo Multispace - Grizz - 14-04-2019 . Built a table for the deck yesterday. Today Prozac is off to breakfast..... |
