If you go on the GSF website and put in your reg number you will get the correct oil filter

The 1.4i?

Odds are it's a common 'tin can' filter, not one of those newfangled paper inserts.
It sits on the front of the engine, almost directly below the exhaust manifold, so it's pretty easy to get at and see.

If it’s a paper cartridge style filter you don’t have to remove any metal, the bit you unscrew is plastic and may need some force to crack it depending when it was last done and if Garth tightened it up Sad

Take a picture of what your trying to undo and pop it up here just to be sure it’s the oil filter (not trying to teach you to suck eggs, just being thorough), it will look black and be a 27mm socket size

I’ve had the odd one where I’ve had to put a 30” 1/2” drive ratchet on it and it’s suddenly come free... yet my normal 10” 1/2” drive ratchet wouldn’t budge en and I’ve done lots of these, even had one when the plastic 27mm hex deformed and we had to forcibly remove it and replace the cap!
