Rear Axle - Choochoo - 06-12-2011 The back of my berlingo is sat realy low and the cambber of the wheels is not straight, I could do with rebuilding the rear axle .Weather its bearings or bushes in them i dont know as ive never tackled anything liek this before, Working for a engine reconditioner i dont get to do stuff like this, Can anyone shed some light on it for me and places to get the parts illed need. Thanks Tom RE: Rear Axle - Danz37 - 06-12-2011 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-306-ALL-MODELS-GTI-REAR-AXLE-REPAIR-KIT-TRAILING-ARM-BUSH-BEARING-/270856666463?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f1050bd5f, That kit is for one side, 99% sure it will be the same for a berlingo, did have a guide for when i did my 306, its probably easier/cheaper just to get a 2nd hand beam tho RE: Rear Axle - berlingopower - 07-12-2011 Hello. I had problems with the old Berlingo rear. If you want to doit yourself, you must arm themselves with patience and a lot of tools (press welding sheet metal work and a lamp). If the axes and arms are not used but there is no need of correction of 4 bearings on each side (instead of two) that will divide the forces that press on the bearings. If you want, i'm gona send a file with all the work. RE: Rear Axle - pk7478 - 08-12-2011 Hello Berlingopower. I think it's irrelevant for UK. For UK's owners cheaper to replace whole rear suspension. RE: Rear Axle - berlingopower - 14-12-2011 It's posible. I saw (on scrap yard) many Berlingo/Partner from UK with rear axle in very good shape. |
