Heyo,
Just to introduce myself to the forum.
We have an '03 1.9 DW8 Multispace, bought from new and still much loved.
I'm not looking for any immediate advice, unless anyone has experience of emissions reduction on these engines; love the drive, hate the idea of it being a stinky ol' Euro-3 diesel.

Blessings,
hengist

It's a possibility, and another idea (probably more radical) is to use an ammonia converter ("AdBlue", "Amminex", etc); much more research needed.
I also don't mind sacrificing a little performance (power) to get the old girl cleaner.

Welcome to you.

Emissions - forget it just drive and enjoy or buy a cleaner vehicle, you certainly don't want any less power with a 1.9d

I wouldn't worry about it too much since all possible weight of taxes will shortly be thrust upon you by Governments eagerly trying to appease the climate activists as a means to get a few more votes and a few more quid in their coffers, in fact it has already started.

Anyway good luck and happy Berlingoing which ever vehicle you have !
