DAB radio - Mike - 29-04-2021 Hi, Has anyone used one of these DAB converter things that you can plug into your cigarette lighter? Are they any good or is there a better way to have DAB without changing the radio? RE: DAB radio - Matt Haigh - 29-04-2021 My brother uses a "Pure DAB 300 Highway" which works just fine. There are many others out there, many cheaper. Be aware though that they come with a DAB aerial that has be stuck inside the windscreen, the unit needs power from cigarette lighter/power socket and the input to the existing radio is by connection into the aux socket or aerial socket. To do a semi-tidy installation requires running the DAB aerial lead down inside the A-pillar trim, and you've got to tidily route the power and aux cables to wherever you choose to mount the unit.
