Anyone else had to change their brake pads?
Only 18,000 miles and our 2020 Rifter XL 7 seater requires front brake pads.
The mechanic thinks its because of the weight of the car when it’s carrying all 7 people plus items.

Update - The pads are fine or rather 50% life left.
The garage that diagnosed the pads as worn out and needing replacement is on my avoid list!
Thankfully I declined their offer to change them at the time otherwise I would have been £80 worse off.
The honest mechanic who I asked to do the work phoned me within 5 minutes to say the pads are fine, they don’t need changing and even checked the rear pads and cleaned up the discs.
Avoid dodgy tyre garages!
