Indicator stalk - captainbugwash - 06-06-2022 [attachment=7233]What is the auto button on the end of indicator stalk for? Can't find any mention of it in the manual. RE: Indicator stalk - oilyrag - 06-06-2022 Automatic illumination of headlights. RE: Indicator stalk - benoliver999 - 06-06-2022 I wonder if you can retrofit this RE: Indicator stalk - cancunia - 06-06-2022 (06-06-2022, 12:50 PM)benoliver999 Wrote: I wonder if you can retrofit this IIRC, it uses a light sensor behind the mirror so while it's possible, I doubt that it's easy. I had the auto rain & light options on an M59, to be honest it did not work that well. You can find some posts on here about it being dangerous. I don't have my M59 handbook any more so can't tell you the correct page to look at. But from memory, if you press & hold that button for about 10 seconds you should see a message on the main display in the centre of the dash about auto lights being activated / deactivated. It may be that the ignition needs to be on or maybe off for it to work. It may also be that at some point the stalks were replaced. I think that @jj9 has an M59 with this function |
