Seat belt problem b9 multispace - Yamato 41 - 14-01-2023

Hi all, I was wondering if some members would be able to help with a seat belt problem with our 2014 B9 Multispace.
The drivers side (LHD) seat belt webbing has started to come apart for some reason, quite badly and definitely a MOT failure.
The car is due an MOT in May 23 so I need to sort it before then. Would anyone know where I might be able to source a decent second hand item
or know the part number that would fit. I have been quoted 500 euros to fit a new one but I find this far too much considering the car has covered
182000km and will only be permitted to LEZ zone here in Belgium another 24 months by which time I will look for a replacement. It's a great car, runs really well (1,6 HDI 84KW) I found a company in Holland that can refurbish/replace the webbing for approx 150euros including postage but the car would have to be off the road whilst the belt is out of the car and this would take at least a week ( transit /repair/ return) and the car is used daily for commuting to work.
Ant suggestions appreciated

thanks

Do you have car breakers in Belgium? If so they might be worth contacting.

I can't believe there are no seatbelts in the breakers.

Most won't bother to reply for something low value like a seatbelt but it's probably the last item they would ever sell as almost no one needs a replacement belt.

I'd go round them in the car to see for yourself, or message anyone breaking one on eBay. It doesn't matter whether it's left or right hand drive, the belt part will be identical.

There are a few passenger side ones on eBay UK which would be the one a French car would need. They are as much as getting your original refurbished though and need posting as well.

Hi, Yes I've seen those on ebay uk, it seems there are at least 3 different types that were fitted to the B9, I might have found a Citroen specialist breakers in Holland who has several in stock but I need to strip down my car to access the pre tensioner to be sure I order the correct type, its currently about -3 deg°C during the day here so I'm waiting until the weather improves before I spend time outside on the driveway in the cold.

thanks for your reply.

The pretensioner is on the female side, the bit the belt plugs into. The actual belt is the same on all versions. There is no pretensioner on the belt part that you pull out of the side, only on the female section bolted to the floor near the handbrake.
