Handbook holder under driver's seat - Steven Tomlin - 12-08-2012 Dear friends I found some hidden treasure today. I was checking the wiring under the driver's seat as I had an airbag indicator showing. The indicator disappeared so I must have jogged the right connector. Anyway I spotted the car handbook in the holder under the seat with the insurance documents etc that I mislaid 7 years ago shortly after buying the car new. I've since bought a new handbook from the dealer. I just wondered if anyone else had forgotten this 'safe place' which is normally unseen Steve RE: Handbook holder under driver's seat - j90xxx - 12-08-2012 No. RE: Handbook holder under driver's seat - geoff - 12-08-2012 Nothing but empty space in mine, however the space under the folding van passenger seat is another lost world ! RE: Handbook holder under driver's seat - j90xxx - 12-08-2012 Oh yes, that is a useful space. Can fit 24 cans of Stella, a sleeping bag and a pillow. (And a bottle of wine for the ladies!) RE: Handbook holder under driver's seat - geoff - 12-08-2012 I daren't go buying slabs of beer as I'd never get up in the morning but the space in front of the gearstick is ideal for a four pack and the door cards are great for bottled beer / wine bottles, good old Citroen !
