throttle problem - genie10 - 11-10-2012

i have a 2004 1.9 berlingo van and the throttle seems stiff can anyone help?

Can you disconnect the throttle cable at the pump end and hang it up and run oil down it for an hour or two so it gets through. Just check all the linkages for free movement and nothing is stuck under the peddle.

I did the above and it can help.... I also re routed the cable within the engine bay to give a less tortuous route for the cable and this returned smoothness and sensitivity to my throttle pedal.

thanks for that ive checked and oiled the cable and it seems fine but its still stiff it feels like its stiff coming out of the throttle body can that be removed and cleaned?
