The reason for joining the site, sometimes I can hear a slight wine, not sure if it's the gearbox, would it be worthwhile changing the gearbox oil? is there a how to?

Thanks in advance.

Steve

Hi Steve.

Thank you for the link my friend!!!

I shall attempt a gearbox oil change come monday, I take it the gearbox will be accessable via the passenger wheel well? am I likely to lose skin of all my knuckles? Big Grin

I'm a reasonable DIY mechanic, discs/pads basic part swapping, so I think it's within my skill range to change the oil.

Cheers!

Steve

Steve.
I live in a country where left side is a driver's side Smile
I'm a little bit confused about gearbox near the passenger wheel Smile
Of course, gearbox is in the left side.
