Alloy wheels - pezzer69 - 20-03-2011 Hi folks, getting my first Berlingo next week and want to fit alloys. Which wheels from other vehicles will fit straight on without having to use spacers etc ? RE: Alloy wheels - Andre - 20-03-2011 These should be the dimensions. Be good if someone could confirm. Ive shown citroen and pug so you can see some compatabilities. [Image: mmgal2.png] RE: Alloy wheels - Andre - 20-03-2011 P.S A couple of our members have aftermarket alloys on their berls, so give them a search. RE: Alloy wheels - pezzer69 - 20-03-2011 Thanks for that.It gives me something to look out for now RE: Alloy wheels - Andre - 20-03-2011 Ofc, with the differing offsets, you could adjust with spacers. Its the pcd and bore that should be the same if you dont want to mess about too much. Let us know how you get on RE: Alloy wheels - pezzer69 - 20-03-2011 I cant really be bothered with spacers etc so I need something to bolt straight on and instantly change the look. Thanks for posting that chart, it now means I can start my search for new wheels on fleabay RE: Alloy wheels - pch - 20-03-2011 have a look at my blac ones.....in my pics. Good luck Pete go to early pics of my van, page 2 i think RE: Alloy wheels - lemsworld - 20-03-2011 I like the sound of alloy wheels but if you get them what do you need to do regarding:- 1. Insurance 2. Wheel nuts 3. I'm no good with wheel sizes, don't understand all the numbers lol Any help would be appreciated RE: Alloy wheels - pch - 20-03-2011 mine were new ones, costing £350.00 ish so I informed insurance company, and of course up went my premium, not in an increase but as a mid term adjustment. Wheel nuts , insurance said fit locking ones so I did but when I changed to my snow tyres November time one locking nut had locked on, so had to be forced off. Took my local garage 30 seconds with oversized socket, and off it came. So took em back to halfors , got my 50.00 back and wont use them again, still got my halfords receipt so if they ever go missing I can produce that, and claim. But in reality if I had had a puncture on motorway I would have been truly stuffed being unable to change wheel. They were McGuard, one of the best. If someone is gonna nick em, they will nick em, unlike me a thief would do same as my garage and they`d be off in seconds.... Pete RE: Alloy wheels - steve valentine - 20-03-2011 If the alloys are for a van, be carefull if you carry weight, some of the thinner spoked varietys buckle under pressure, much like myself |
