central locking issue - john - 31-08-2013 mk1 berlingo with central locking, locking the driver door all lock except the driver sliding door lock, if i turn the key to lock it again it will lock, cant think that think that this is normal? any idea's? RE: central locking issue - Rustscrat - 31-08-2013 Are the contact pads and pins clean? RE: central locking issue - john - 01-09-2013 yeah they are clean, it alway works on the 2nd turn of they key, i read on another forum apparently its meant to do that, allowing you to work out the side door whilst the others are lock. RE: central locking issue - john - 03-09-2013 ok something weird i've noticed, if i move the sliding door handle maybe a couple of mm and then lock the doors it does lock on the 1st turn of the key. RE: central locking issue - Tomcat3 - 03-09-2013 Sounds like something between the handle and locking servo needs adjusting, time to take the inside trim off and see whats happening. |
