Wind deflectors - Pitman - 12-06-2011 Anyone seen these on Ebay etc, just wondered if they do the job and are easy to fit. They are not cheap tho 20 + Quid and postage.???:?: RE: Wind deflectors - Coco - 12-06-2011 I have a pair of genuine Peugeot ones. Paid about £15 second hand on the digital fleamarket a couple of years ago. Yes they do the job - allow the window open a bit without rain coming in - very handy with our summer just started !!! Easy to fit? Yes, just open the window and bend them into place RE: Wind deflectors - Pitman - 12-06-2011 Thanks Coco, do they stop wind noise as well, I am slightly irritated by the noise and I beleive hinders fuel econemy when windows are down.? RE: Wind deflectors - Coco - 12-06-2011 No difference in wind noise that I can detect. I know what you mean about the open window causing more drag and I suppose these would help to a small extent, but after opening the window past a certaim point they become ineffective anyway - so any gains would, I think, be negligible. They are more about comfort to me RE: Wind deflectors - pch - 12-06-2011 I`ve got some climar ones, very pleased, opeb a touch get fresh air without quite so much noise.Looks good aswell. Pete |
