IIRC 7000 is 10/40 fully synth and 9000 is 5/40 fully synth. If it were my car, and I was unsure, I'd go for the 10/40. Don't think your car will have a DPF, but can't say it 100% hasn't. HTH Stuar...

OK, so I attacked the rusted-up screw & hook with my angle grinder and went to the dealers for replacements.  These are the parts you will get for an '06 M59 if you give the partsman your VIN code...
