If a battery improved it i'd test the alternator asap before it ruins the new battery! They are odd symptoms but with any electrical fault the battery and alternator would always be my first test.

There's no BSI (control units) on one that early, so the electronic systems are pretty simple. I'd be starting with a battery and alternator test then going from there.

I've done a few of there repairs now, as said in your other thread you'd get away with just using a little filler, but for longevity i'd just chop a complete panel from sheet steel and cut a hole out ...

GTi6 brakes (apparently 283mm) will only fit under 15 inch wheels. Both sets will fit (assuming the Picasso is a similar era and now a newer model!), I'd just fit the best looking calipers!

The 'bulkhead' is actually just scuttle panel so that won't be a fail. The inner wing would be at testers discretion, and if i'm hoesnt I'd just pop the washer filler neck off and use a little body ...

Yeah it sits the single unit bang in the middle of where the double would be. The trim itself finishes it quite nicely.

I'm afraid I disagree with you all here! Having worked around new cars all my working career, manufacturing tolerances are now so good there is no need for any sort of 'run-in' when all parts are new...

Nice job, just swapped my DW8 to a and XUD9te. What do you mean about the driveshafts? Wondering now if thats why mine has a leak as I used the original berlingo shafts.
