Thread: Clutch has gone awol, what did you pay for yours?
Post: RE: Clutch has gone awol, what did you pay for you...

Just my two penneth worth.
I wouldn’t consider this job at less than 5 hours, you need to drop the subframe, so it’s a bit of a job.

I try to avoid using the Gates kits , but this is mostly personal preference as they are usually more expensive & come with less parts than INA kits, which are without doubt the best.

I fitted a genuine Denso unit on a C4 Picasso this week.
It’s the one with the half moon resistor integrated into the motor .
C4 is pretty much the same as a Berlingo, so this may well be the unit.

Thread: Abs faulty (again)
Post: RE: Abs faulty (again)
I have a little air powered grinder, (think dentist drill).
It’s great for carefully removing corrosion from the sensor groove .
The air gap should be tiny, probably 2mm or less.
Hope this helps. |

Your discs & pads won’t be causing the issue, it’s more likely that you have a problem with the air gap between sensor & pickup ring, or contamination in this area. |

We can do the cruise control activation for anyone who struggles.
We usually keep a couple of switches in stock, the aftermarket ones are fine at about £20. |
