As the heat in the heater matrix is controlled by an electric valve it is probably that which is at fault nothing to do with flaps at all.

The particle filter may be blocked so that needs changing or cleaning.The Eolys fluid helps burn the particles which stay in the DPF and block it.

Have you got a remote that works ? you can get new covers from eBay for about a fiver and swap the internals and key blade. There is a thread on here somewhere on how to do it .
