Battery positive needs disconnecting,
Glow plug connection nut on the nearside of the manifold needs disconnectin... |

I agree with the above the valve clearances should be one of the first things to be checked when experiencing rough running or cold start problems.
1.9d valve clearances should be:

There's a blanking plug in the passenger foot well.
Is behind a pull out piece of circular carpet trim.
Is plastic and can be drilled or removed and a grommet fitted for your wiring.

Hi I think the general consensus is that the intervals for timing belt changes should be reduced to half the recommended time/ distance. Do the water pump too. :)

I've had a squirrel chew through a wiring loom before! Looks like that or mice... The leak off pipe is usually pushed right up to the horizontal part of the connection

You can flush all the oil out with a washing powder and water solution, or forte bio degreaser or dae eco radiator flush. It will take a few weeks to get all the oil out though, flush weekly.. is a mi... |
