According to this news: https://www.largus.fr/actualite-automobi...79390.html (see the chapter at the end) the 5W30 oil is supposed to prolong the lifetime of timing chain.

Happened to me once. I disconnected the battery for 5 minutes. After reconnection everything works fine.

Why haven't you looked at Toyota City ProAce City Verso? The front is not my cup of tea, but you get petrol or diesel engines.

This reminds me on my old C3. The first time it took me half an hour, leaving me with numb fingers. But after a few repetitions, it was pretty straightforward job.

I don't mind setting the daylight saving time. It bothers me that it's not accurate enough. I need to adjust the time every two months or so, because is more than one minute off.

Probably anti-crystalization aditives would help, such as ADMAX or FORTE.

OK, but this is not 100% that you have 7mm chain. I'll definetly ask the mechanic to check that number on the chasis on my next service visit.

Does anyone have any clue where to look for that number on the camshaft housing? Is is possible to see it in the engine department without lifting the car or dismantling anything?

Just don't expect miracles with this mirror as its position is a little bit too high (in my Berlingo XL). And it is quite small. I can barely see that my kids are still in the car...
