That's a major improvement!! Going from roughly 37mpg to 45mpg. My van needs a clutch soon so I think I'll go for this swap. Thanks a million!

When my ac compressor clutch engages there is a noticeable change in engine sound for a second while it winds up but no hesitation or stutter. Sounds like yours is putting an undue load on the engine.
