Transponder chips need to be coded / registered with the car via Lexia or Diagbox software. A little searching around will get more info on that.
A new remote fob will cost more than a new normal key... |

Welcome.
It's probably the small transponder chip missing from the key fob. Without it, the immobiliser won't be disabled. If you look on the plastic head of the non remote key, you should see a smal... |

Hi saskak, thanks for looking. By coincidence it's also related to CC, it's the accelerator pedal that goes with the speed limiter for my Expert.
I think I may have found the correct cross reference ... |

On my M59 I had an aux-in via an add on box connected to the CD changer port on the back of the radio. I'm fairly sure it was one of these..

It's an RD3 in the M59? I'm not sure if an RD4 would work, but it does have several 'ambience' modes, not sure I've seen Techno though. |
