not sure an injector would cause all these symptoms. fuel pump crossed my mind as I think it might be mechanical on these engines?

Hi, Yeh I got it fixed. The battery had leaked acid onto the wires in front of the battery and ate through two of them.  I cut out the bad wire and joined the ends then heat wrapped them. All sorted....

thanks, will try that. noticed that the blowers arent working either. i cant switch between the side and dipped lights now. constantly on dipped beams with no high beam.

thanks guys, tomcat3, im not aware of the bsi reset, is it easy to do? had a look tonight and the rear lights are on aswell, im assuming they turn off after 15 mins when the van enter powersaver mod...

i think i can switch between sidelights and low beam, i dont think high beam is working.

the alternator on my 05 berlingo, non turbo went today, been on euro car parts and there are several available, ranging from £90 upto over £200. the cheapest one puts out 70 amps, is this enough?
