Hi, back of the engine block, loosened the egr valve and slid a blanking plate in but when noticed it wasn't running right I took it out. I'll check if any codes come back after running it tomorrow ?

Hi, yes turbo spinning fine but does has slight play. But even with that should it have a positive boost pressure? Just seems funny that it went wrong after i blanked the egr valve off?

Hi again. So today I've cleared the fault codes. The turbo is spinning and creating a vacuum through the air filter as i should but it still lacks power and still showing a vacuum on the turbo boost...

Update - I got a obd reader and it works now. The turbo boost reading was mainly in vacuum and only went to 0.2 bar max which would seem to me that the turbo isn't working correctly. I also read th...

Hi, I'm just waiting for a Bluetooth OBD which I hope will work. Is there a way to tell if the turbo is at fault?

Hi again, I eventually got round to fitting a new fuel filter, no change. When stationary if i press the accelerator to the floor the revs will only go to 4500 to 5000 revs, is that normal? If mine...

Update, problem solved. I undid the dipstick on top of filter, which I believe drains the filter, then bleed the filter and back to normal. I must have disturbed something inside when I moved it ?

Thinking about it I had to move the fuel filter out of the way, not disconnected, to locate an oil leak before it happened. Is it possible I've moved the contents around inside causing a blockage?

Do you think it could be a blocked fuel filter. Engine seems ok with little throttle but not so much when I try accelerating?
