I have similar problem on my Mk3 atm, the fan will only blow on max setting hoping in mine its the relay or resistor. |

You could try and see if your local council has a MOT test centre, they are supposed to be the best place to take older cars as they are not looking to make money off you for repairs. |

Upto 36k the car was serviced by peugeot main dealer (so assume it would have been the spec'd quartz oil). Service internals varied from 7k to 10.5k
