As simmocs330 says, persevere....but I did get ecu update on my previous eHdi which had the egs gearbox

Don't know if it has Sport Mode button....if so , that keeps it in gear longer

You should be fine with semi-auto once you get used to it...XTR has individual rear seats and optional internal rack which should be beneficial to you.

Have you tried changing down to 1st using paddles.....might help in certain situations.
