Anyone know how this has started to happen? I keep a regular check on the Timing belt because I know its nearly time for it to be changed. It looked ok 2-3 weeks ago now it looks like this.

Wrong type flywheel. No pickup. I've opened a new thread to try and get around this problem without having to remove the gearbox. |

Ok I've replaced the injector #1 and plugged in the needle lift sensor but it still sounds like a bag of spanners inside a washing machine. Does it need to be reset first?

Also camshaft out by one tooth and fuel pump retarded by about an inch |

These two where identical same colour same key but different colour wires that was the only visible difference. |

Thanks for all your help guys I've finally solved the problem. The guy who changed the engine plugged the wrong lead into the TDC sensor. After changing the leads around everything came back to life. ... |

It's a 19D DW8 I've tried to reset BSI but haven't got a remote key with it only a copied key with no buttons so couldn't get to far with that. |
