Back end leak!
#1
Was told about a leak on the car, and on return found a large patch under what i think is the fuel tank at the rear offside quarter of the car.
Looks like it was from the top of the tank as see water marks down one side.
Did have very! low radiator coolent which thought maybe but i doubt that run to the back of the car.

Is there anything that runs over/passed the fuel tanks that can leak if damaged?
Liquid looked dark cloudy white ish colour so thinking it diesel.
Filled the tank the day before, then parked up so no mileage on it.
Fuel gauge saying fuel tank full looks like no drops, so if any other way something can leak?

Sorry for long post but getting the details/thoughts in.

Could be a leak in the pump or the fuel lines.

Pretty much all it can be is water, fuel or brake fluid

Have you smelt it?

Could be coming out of the tank breather is the pipe attached?

Recommend you throughly dry the area leave it a while without driving it and see if the fluid returns and where from

Could be related to the fact you filled it before you noticed the leak and now the fuel level has dropped it might not return.

Have you tried filling her up again and seeing if it returns, doing exactly what you did before?

if I fill mine up to the brim my tank leaks a bit, spoke to a citroen specialist, he says its not unusual and if the tanks been out and the pump removed and not immediately screwed back on it can deform slightly then leak, unfortuantly theres no inspection panel on this version of berlingo so it was exhaust off and tank out to check, I just put 40lt in when I get to 1/4 tank and no leaks

It sounds like overfilling to me.A garage that I use frequently has a slight slope on the forecourt & going in 1 way I can get it really full.If I then don't go far it will weep slightly.Fill to 1st click & no prob but I tend to round up to next full litre.Confusedalut:

That !maybe! onto a winner, did fill it up at station never used before and it on a slight encline. As normaly go for a 2nd click.
Not notice the issue before.
Got an idea how to test it as well. Cheers
