serviced my new van

Bought a 2008 1.6 hdi berlingo with 91k miles last saturday. I`ve done 260 miles so far. I think I got it fairly cheap but it was a cat c in 2009. I cant see any evidence of repairs and the panel gaps all look good.
The service indicator showed it was 30k+ over!!! It came with no history but the previous owner said it was serviced last september by the owner before. So it probably aint been done in a while. I changed the oil and filter tonight. How often is the recommended interval for the oil changes and also the fuel filter interval?
Next job this saturday is some new tyres as they are old and perished. I was gonna buy a second hand set of picasso alloys but have decided to stick with the steels as its semms the more sensible option for a work van. I`ve bought some new wheel trims though.
The yellow plastic handle has snapped of the bpnnet release so I need to order another as its a pain to open.
When I turn the engine off with the bonnet open there is lots of clicking and beeping from the injector area for about a minute. What would that be?

It is crucial you use the correct grade oil on the 1.6hdi and service intervals were 12500 I think but someone will confirm this. If it was mine I would do a full service and check replace all oils, antifreeze and go over the brakes. The cam belt and waterpump would be next. There is plenty on the forum about these engines they are good but they must be looked after correctly. also check injector bolts for tightness as they tend to loosen and leak causing black tar around the injector and a chuffing sound. The ticking and servo sounds is normal its just things shutting down after you have turned off it does sound odd but you get used to it.

Oil is 12000 miles but change it at 6000 is better oil is 5w30 - pref low saps. Fuel is 36000 or 3 years.
