cruse controle
#1
Hi I have a Berlingo 2013 E-hdi 90hp with cruse control problems. When the workshop is to activate it, they say that they cannot be changed in ECU. So now I wonder what could be the problem? I have searched forums but can not find a good answer.

sorry for my bad English  Tongue

Welcome to the forum.
Do you know what software the workshop are using to make the changes? They should really be using Diagbox, with version 7.11 or higher.

I installed CC on my 2013 car a couple of weeks ago which is how I know what the minimum software version is. If you try to use a lower version number, the software cannot talk to the ECU properly.

Update, still can not change in ECU, although newer software than 7.11, have also tried in Delivery of vehicle to customer, and there the workshop says they do not have cruse control as an alternative so now I am back in square one. So now what?

The options in the later versions of Diagbox under 'Delivery of Vehicle' should work as far as I know. My version of Diagbox did not have that option so I added CC in 2 places, first in the engine ECU & second in the BSI. If you look at my post, linked below, there is another link to a Peugeot forum post that shows how to add CC in the 2 different places. Maybe this will work for you.

Does it have the radio control stick on the right of the steering wheel ?

Does it have the extra switches on the pedals (brake/clutch) as i heard they dont all have them

If the Ecu has been unlocked in the past they have to cut the communication channels so once that’s done certain things can’t be programmed

I have also encountered certain modules that can’t be programmed due to them being ordered with set parameters, for example clocks in pre b9 models have to be ordered for cruise, there are clocks that can’t be programmed

never seen a b9 canbus vehicle without stereo remote if I’m being honest... also the switches won’t prevent programming, only activation ??
