my discovery failed its mot last week on terminal rust, in a moment of madness i bought this french thingy, aparently its a 2002 berlingo multispace.1.9d.. surprisingly the interior space is pretty similar to the disco hopefully itll use a bit less diesel and not rust as quick.
downside is the mother in law found the disco too high to get into, but has no problem getting in the berlingo.

im also running a lwb smiley transit van and since the teenage daughter stole the pug 306d the mrs has got a y reg picasso 2.0 hdi whatsit.

Awfully sorry to hear about the mother in law access , thanks for posting this terrible dilema , it must be a crushing blow for you and your family . Hope it doesn't spoil your Christmas though :wave: Wink

Sell the Disco to a Series Land Rover fan, they sell well to them as an engine donor. Better still get yourself a L/R.

Mine has a bit of bare metal showing near the rear or handle, has for 5 years, no rust?!Confusedcratch:
