I'm very unfond of the feature that lights turn on when car is started, so is there a clue as to how to make them be off, when the switch is off.
Is it just a matter of taking certain fuse, relay out?

That's what most people here would call the "DRLs".
Fairly sure you can turn them off with Lexia.

Can daylight running dipped beam be equaled with low wattage halogens or daylight LED's, the actual DRLs?
I think DRLs have separate switch, but in my case, when I have light position in "0", lights are turned on. Also, they stay turned on when I turn them on, with the difference that dash gets lit.
I'd just like to make the "zero position" on the switch actually do nothing.
Lexia again?

I think so. Possibly you could ask Lighty.

On my mk 3 I enabled that feature with my Lexia so it can be disabled as well.
