Hi
Just taken delivery of our new Berlingo (XTR HDi110 with lots of bells and whistles) and so far are extremely impressed. According to the trip computer we managed 47mpg on the way home from Barclays Citroën of Warrington to home near Chelmsford in Essex. Not going too fast, 65-75mph. Very pleased.
We were rather taken aback, however, when we came to fill up with diesel for the journey home. As it turns out, we had foolishly bought a Fuel Angel since we have learnt from previous experience how easy it is to mis-fuel. Well... on taking off the filler cap, lo and behold, what appears to be Citroëns version of a Fuel Angel had been fitted during manufacture. Has anyone else with a newish Berlingo discovered this?
Well, this means that we have a Fuel Angel, brand new and unused, supposedly for a Partner Tepee 08 onwards that is very much surplus to requirements. It cost us £35 and we are open to sensible offers. Please PM us if you are interested.
Bonne Route,
Jim & Tracey
