This is another thread branched off from the com2000 variants one.
In short, it might be possible to add cruise control to an M59 by adding an OERM stalk to the com200 at 8 o'clock, a few other items, and then using Lexia/Diagbox to update the car.
I took everyone's advice and avoided the cheap Chinese stalks - there are a few OEM ones pulled from wrecks on eBay, and several on other European sites. Prices for apparently OEM ones range from a tenner to over £90! I bought one for nearer £20 because the photo showed correct stickers (no guarantee I know!). Only a few squid more than a new Chinese one too.
As for compatibility, this offering (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184129221917) has the following list of cars it can fit:
PEUGEOT 1007, 2008, 206, 206+ (T3E), 207, 208, 3008 (T84E), 301, 307, 307 RESTYLING, 308 (T7), 407, 5008 (T87E), 607 RESTYLING, 807, EXPERT 3, PARTNER TEPEE (B9), PARTNER UTILITY VEHICLE (B9), PARTNER VP (M59), PARTNER VU (M59), RCZ.
CITROEN C2,C3 II, C3 PICASSO, C3 PLURIEL (A42), C4 (B7), C5 II, C8, C-ELYSEE, DISPATCH COMBI, DISPATCH III,
DS4, XSARA PICASSO, BERLINGO UTILITY VEHICLE (B9), BERLINGO PRIVATE VEHICLE (B9), BERLINGO VP (M59), BERLINGO VU (M59).
And...
SOME FIAT MODELS.
Some familiar numbers there; M59 is reassuring - but no M49? Does this mean that M49s cannot have CC added with Lexia? I ask in case those with them are following this saga.
It would follow then that all these models could potentially have CC enabled in them?
I also noted stalks with a different stock number (96637157XT); they seem to be identical? The above seller adds more stock numbers in his listing and also offers a stalk without speed limiter. Not that I'm plugging him of course - just searching out info. I bought mine elsewhere.
