[WTB] Electric camping hook wanted
#1
Hi folks,

I am looking for one of those hook up cables to help us on our way camping in our Betty Berlingo. Ideally with the normal plug sockets for the van/tent end of the cable.

I would think at least 20 meters is required for these things?

Cheers.

EBay or go outdoors is your friend here.

Although me being me would just make one, then I can have the length I want.

Or you could just buy an outdoor extension lead and put a 240v commando plug on it, ideally the cable needs to be 2.5mm squared.

The choice as they say is yours....

Go Outdoor are selling one at the moment for £39.99 with their discount card
It has it's own RCD built in

If using a tent or awning, I would always use something with RCD protection as they can create condensation inside overnight

Keep an eye on Aldi too. They get them in. Not an expert but we got one & it worked just fine last year.
