Freon is a coolant/refrigerant used in A/C's ,, so i guess its the tube that carries it to cool the car down,,,, doesnt the air conditioning work ????

Freon is a trade name for CFC.
They are used as refridgerants, and so (in this case) will form part of your Air-con system.

My A/C wasnt as cold as it should be when it went in for its service and they fitted a new Freon tube under warranty.
