Fuel Flap Button

Hi

Has anyone had a problem with the fuel flap where it no longer pushes down the little button when closed? (The button which prevents the side door from opening when filling up)

Not sure if the button on ours has become bent or the fuel flap is damaged so the button isn't seating properly under the track on the flap.

At the minute I'm having to manually push down the button when closing the fuel flap otherwise the flap won't close and the side door won't open.
