I have the fog light icon on the dash its light up and when I turn the the switch on the indicator stork to on or off it stays light up but no fog light s are on and there is also a buzzing noise on the front and I guess it caused by this fault and Any help would be appreciated and yes I have the headlights turned on when I am testing the fogs lights.
I think I will wire the fog light to a illuminated switch that I will fit on near dash and how do I stop the buzzing noise!

Afraid I can't help with the problem but I am curious about rear fog lights. What are they for??? These are different from the normal reversing lights?? Thanks for any info.

Bright rear red light, for use in dense fog, should be used when visibility is reduced to 100m or less, I think we are the only country in Europe to have them.

The buzzing noise sounds like the one when you leave your lights on with key out and can I turn it off?
the buzz seems to come out of the car stereo speakers even when its off

Thanks for the explanation. Actually sounds like a great idea. Something like the F1 pilots have on the back of theirs.

Hi prebs and welcome.
You really need to put a new post up in the Mk.I section.
You need to tell us which Mk.I you have, petrol/diesel,
van/ Multispace as I think the BSI units are different on different versions.
The rear fogs don't get much use so I would be checking the bulb first.
