OEM Catalytic Converter
#1
Hi all,

Can anyone point me in the right direction on where to purchase a catalytic converter for my car.

The Cat I have is an Arvin Meritor TR PSA K181 WHICH IS AN OEM PART

It will have to be shipped to Oz so a supplier that does that would be great.

Many thanks,

pitpan

Do you need it for mot equivalent? If not replace it with a straight pipe and revel in more power lol

I don't think I would get away with that in Oz dumdum, polluting the environment would be a jail term for sure, plus the car ecu would go bonkers as it is run on two O2 sensors which has something to do with the mixture

ok found out that Arvin Meritor was took over by Klarius and the Catalytic converter I require is Part Number 321524 with fitting kit part number 401807 so if anyone knows where I can purchase these then please let me know.

UPDATE

Have now bought a brand new cat converter plus mounting kit for the princely sum of au$256.00 saving myself $500.00 as the exhaust fitters in Oz a a complete rip off on euro cars like Citroen. All I have to do now is undo a few nuts and bolts and fit it.

I get cats for free as samples from klarius as I know the sales director I fixed a pug 307 for him

I bought a React type approved cat from euro car parts online for £70 & had it shipped to Oz for £60 plus a mounting kit for £5.5

Are they hard to change as mine is a close coupled cat with a square top with 4 small bolts then there is a bolt that attaches to the engine and finally two bolts connecting it to intermediary pipe. What's the easiest way to change it
