Driveshaft boot clamp
#1
Hi folks,
is it possible to get a replacement driveshaft boot clamp on its own or do I have to buy a complete kit? Whilst cleaning up my brake discs a couple of weeks ago I noticed that the clamp had split, managed to fit a very strong cable tie in its place as a temporary measure but it has started to loose grease all over the the inside of the hub assembly. Hopeing I can get it fixed without having to strip every thing down as the boots are both in very good condition.

Thanks,
Dave.

Somehing like these?

You also need a special tool for them.

This one is a bit on the expensive side but at least you can see how it looks.

Edit:
Buy more clamps than you need...
It's easy to overtighten the clamp the first time you try, and break it....

Thanks for the replies guys,
will have a word with the mechanics at work tomorrow and see if they have the necessary bits to fix it. Didn't fancy stripping everything down just to fit a clamp, was going to try a jubilee clip but might be a bit tight for room.
Thanks again folks,
Dave.
