help ....conflicting advice from manufacturers of the tow bar bike carriers
does anyone know for certain how many bikes i can tow on a tow bar type bike carrier ?

looking at the thule ones ....but surely 4 bikes on rear will tip up a little berlingo 2005 ....

i went to citroen and they have thule 2 carrier ....so i tend to think they dont recommend a 4x ....but he was not certain .

if i have 2 on rear and 2 on top ...which is best value thule rack to carry 2 bikes

...sorry its a rush and cant afford to make mistake

Pass, but shoudnt it go on weight?

Berlingos like any car/van have a max rating that they can tow.

Going off memory but a berlingo weighs about 1.2 tonnes add in people and you would need to tow a lot more weight than that to tip it up.

That doesn't mean that you can try to find out how much weight it requires to tip a berlingo!

Get a four bike... I have a 2006 1.4 lt and I tow occasionally 800kg and no matter the load distribution in trailer I have traction.and yes it takes a while to get going, but once moving alls good

Nose weight for Berlingos is about 65kg depending on model so don't exceed that on your carrier and you should be fine.
So where does this bit go then ?
